Drive-through #RAT collection sites
Drive-through collection sites will open across the Perth metropolitan area from Wednesday, 18 May for people who are close contacts with no symptoms to collect their free RATs.
Drive-through locations for RAT collection are located in Joondalup, Jandakot and Bassendean. This makes it even more convenient for close contacts with no symptoms to collect RATs as part of the requirement to undertake a daily RAT before leaving their place of isolation.
A full list of collection points and opening hours is available on www.wa.gov.au/. If you or someone you know return a positive RAT result, please register the result online with the Department of Health as soon as you can.
People can also call 13 COVID (13 26843) and press * to access an interpreter for more information.
***RAT household deliveries***
Households which have not yet received their 15 free RATs have now been emailed and can choose to pick up their RATs from a collection point or have their free RATs redelivered to their address. For some households, they may not have received this email given their RATs are still in the distribution process and will be delivered imminently.
A full list of collection points and opening hours is available on www.wa.gov.au/.
Itâs ok to wear a mask.
As you are aware, as part of our baseline public health and social measures, masks are still required in some settings, including places like hospitals and health care settings, aged care, corrective services and on public transport.
With high COVID-19 case numbers in our community, many of us are now choosing to voluntarily wear a mask in settings where we arenât required to, and we want to encourage Western Australians to feel comfortable wearing a mask whenever theyâre out and about in the community especially as we approach the winter months.
So, if youâre attending a large event, canât physically distance, or are in an indoor space, remember - thereâs nothing wrong with wearing a mask. ... See MoreSee Less
