ISWA Student Wing has the vision and objective of supporting the students of Indian origin in Western Australia, across all colleges and universities, through their journey of settling in Australia, hardship, development and mentoring, job readiness, networking, and social and cultural integration to the wider Western Australian community.

ISWA Student Wing is chaired by Mr Rakesh Bhan, ISWA Management Committee Member. Mr Rohan Amlani, Secretary of our member association Hindi Samaj of WA and ISWA Council Member, is the Vice Chair of the Student Wing.

The Student Wing of Indian Society of Western Australia (ISWA) invites all students of Indian origin in WA across all universities and colleges to join us for a Free lunch and networking meet-up. Please register ASAP to lock in your place :

On 15th August, 2020, Hon Minister Paul Papalia presented a check of $188,000 to ISWA for extending the support to Indian students during COVID19 time.This event, among other agenda items, will explain the procedures, and selection criteria for disbursing this relief fund to the students.

The tentative agenda is outlined below:

1. ISWA Covid19 Relief fund disbursement – procedure and selection criteria

2. Registering interest / application from students seeking help from this relief fund, at the venue.

3. Launching the first ever Mentoring program focusing on the Indian diaspora to identify, develop, connect, integrate, and help excel Indian students in Western Australian industry / market.

4. Various other upcoming initiatives of ISWA Student WingThis is a free entry event. Delicious lunch will be provided.Due to Covid restrictions, entry will be strictly based on registration (first come first served).
