Bindiya Manchanda 

Bindiya Manchanda has vast experience with the Indian and broader community of WA over the past three decades. She has been associated with ISWA since 1992 by holding positions on the Management Committee (MC) and various subcommittees. Bindiya initiated the formation of ISWA women’s wing in 2017, ISWA flagship event NAARI is her brainchild celebrating women for the past 5 years. She was instrumental in getting 2 women representatives mandatory on ISWA MC in the constitution in 2018. 

She is a qualified Electronics and Communications Engineer from Delhi College of Engineering, India, works as a Commonwealth Registered Marriage Celebrant and Digital Literacy Tutor. 

Bindiya is a founding member of Indian Women Volunteers WA since 2019, a platform to Australian Indian women to socialise, network and charity events. 

Bindiya is also a life member of Hindi Samaj of WA, The Sikh Association of WA, and Perth Hindu Temple Canning Vale (committee member in 2014 and Present MC).
